I AM my Greatest Project

“I continue to learn about myself daily, and how powerful my thoughts can be at times. My mind creates a multitude of ideas, which can create an influx of emotions. When my mind and body are not in sync, my well-being becomes a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The key for me is to strengthen my focus and sharpen my mind by exercising it. To achieve this, I stand still with my thoughts and learn how to allow one thought at a time. Meditation has played a big role in this process. I’ve learned to reduce multitasking, as it divides my way of thinking and can cause uncontrollable thought processes. I am grateful for the technology and resources that allow me to study and learn how to gain back my life. It has been a long journey to arrive here, and I continue to learn. If I do not follow the healthy habits I’ve created, the possibility of me becoming offset is higher.

I am constantly growing and sharing my tools and resources as a self-healer. I take responsibility for my actions and blame no one. I have compassion for all, for it allows me to have compassion for my own healing process. Let’s learn to dig deep into the root of our challenges and assist one another in becoming the great creators we were born out of this world to be. Let’s find love and allow it to guide us. Love is the key to setting me free from the concepts and constructs that steal from me. Let’s grow together.”

Good day and happy Monday! As we begin a new week, it’s important to remember that each day is a new beginning. No matter what happened last week or yesterday, today is a chance to start fresh and move forward.

Learning to let go can be a powerful tool in our daily lives. It allows us to release negative emotions and focus on the present moment. By letting go of the past, we create space for new opportunities and experiences.

So today, we encourage you to take a deep breath and let go of any negative emotions or thoughts that may be holding you back. Remember, you have the power to choose your thoughts and feelings, so choose positivity and embrace the present moment.

My Why?

Every day, I remind myself how finite life is. I need to have this perspective to start living a fulfilling lifestyle. I consistently remind myself that every second my clock is ticking. I do not know when it will expire, but I use this knowledge to help me thrive in the present moment. I embrace every experience and learn from the situations I may face.

In my early years, I experimented with drugs and alcohol, and I allowed other people’s opinions to define me when they had no idea who I was. My family’s suggestions on what I should do or be took over, which left me feeling empty inside, always searching for who I was. I’ve lost everything during Hurricane Harvey, which was the fifth time. I had nothing. The following year, I almost lost both of my parents. My father ended up passing, but my mother recovered. I am so thankful. Then, COVID happened, and I was out of work for about a year and a half. My wife and I lost two children in the process of finally conceiving.

I share this with you not for you to feel bad for me or to pray for me. I share this with you to show you that through our turmoil, there is light, and through our challenges comes growth. Life is always changing, and when we try to find a reason or answer, it steals from our only truth: NOW. Until I started to learn about myself and understand what created these feelings, change was not possible for me. Our childhood experiences shape us into who we are in adulthood, but we are the creators, and we must learn that everything is teaching us.

I continue to heal and grow and share my tools and resources. I am open with who I am so that I can be the support I once needed during the times I lost in the darkness. Trust me, though, no one is coming to save you. You must do the work. I am here to help guide and support in any way possible. It will take determination and consistency, but it can be done. I love you. I love you so much that I work on myself to show by example

Forgiving Friday

Welcome to Forgiving Friday, where we reflect on the importance of forgiveness for our everyday well-being. Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is essential for our emotional and mental health. It allows us to let go of grudges and negative feelings, freeing up space for us to continue thriving in our lives.

When we hold onto anger and resentment, it can weigh us down and cause unnecessary stress and anxiety. Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting or condoning hurtful behavior, but it does mean choosing to release the negative emotions associated with it.

An important aspect of forgiveness is understanding that it is a process. It may not happen overnight, but with time and effort, we can work towards forgiveness. It’s important to acknowledge our own feelings and allow ourselves time to heal.

For today’s exercise, we encourage you to take a moment and reflect on any grudges or negative feelings you may be holding onto. Is there someone in your life who you need to forgive? Write a letter to that person, expressing your feelings and emotions. You don’t have to send the letter, but the act of writing it can be a powerful tool in releasing negative emotions.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for The Four Agreements. Four Agreements are a set of principles outlined by Don Miguel Ruiz in his book of the same name. These agreements are:

  1. Be impeccable with your word. Speak with integrity and say only what you mean. Avoid using words to speak against yourself or others.
  2. Don’t take anything personally. What others do or say is a reflection of them, not you. Don’t allow their actions or words to affect your sense of self-worth.
  3. Don’t make assumptions. Seek clarification and ask questions to avoid misunderstandings. Don’t assume you know what someone else is thinking or feeling.
  4. Always do your best. Your best will vary depending on the circumstances, but make an effort to do your best in every situation.

Implementing these agreements can change your life by helping you to live with greater authenticity, clarity, and purpose. When you commit to being impeccable with your word, you develop greater self-awareness and become more conscious of the impact your words have on others. When you don’t take things personally, you free yourself from unnecessary emotional pain and cultivate greater resilience. When you don’t make assumptions, you become more open-minded and curious about the world around you. And when you always do your best, you develop a strong sense of self-respect and a deep sense of personal fulfillment.

However, implementing these agreements requires self-work and can be challenging. It involves unlearning old patterns of behavior and thought and developing new habits that align with the agreements. It requires determination, consistency, and a willingness to be vulnerable and confront your own shortcomings. But the benefits of this work are immense and can lead to a deeper sense of inner peace, clarity, and happiness.

As a healing human myself, I know how important it is to do self-work and take responsibility for our own well-being. We are all born with the capacity to love and be loved, but we often get caught up in the constructs and concepts of society that separate us from our true nature. By doing self-work, we can unlearn these constructs and rediscover the love and connection that is our birthright. Let’s commit to doing the work and growing together.

Wisdom Wednesday

Instilling the greatness of being the #1 species as a superpower is essential, but it also comes with a great responsibility. With that being said, I will forever strive to do my best and be the best version of myself in any human interaction. I will work on myself so that I am capable of having beautiful and constructive conversations with others, even those who think differently, in order to learn and understand, rather than just react.

Life is finite, and I remind myself every day that I am dying, which motivates me to truly live with love. I have been shaped and molded by family, friends, and society, but I claim the power to be me and to let love guide me, for it always leads in the right direction.

I detach myself from taking things personally because I understand that others are allowed to feel as well. My challenges only make me shine brighter, and I lead by example, showing others that I am a loving being. I embrace this world by doing things that bring me joy and surrounding myself with beings that celebrate life rather than just tolerate it.

I will disengage from emotionally hostile beings and focus on my mission to heal myself in a way that leads others to do the same. I wish for all of you to enjoy your journey, the one that you deserve. Own your life by taking the responsibility to act upon it

Self Work

Here’s an exercise on wisdom that you may find helpful:

  1. Take some time to reflect on a difficult situation or problem that you have faced recently or are currently facing.
  2. Write down any thoughts or feelings that come to mind when you think about this situation or problem. Be honest with yourself and don’t judge your thoughts or feelings.
  3. Next, try to shift your perspective and think about the situation or problem as if you were someone else. Write down how you would advise someone else in this situation.
  4. After writing down your advice, take a moment to reflect on it. How does it compare to the thoughts and feelings you wrote down earlier? Is there anything you can learn from this exercise that can help you deal with the situation or problem more effectively?
  5. Finally, write down one or two actionable steps you can take to apply the wisdom you gained from this exercise to your life.

This exercise can help you gain insight and wisdom by looking at your problems from a different perspective and learning from the advice that you would give someone else.

Thinking Tuesday

I am filled with joy for life. As I began to change the way I think, the reality I once lived in started to shift. I realized that our thoughts are the creators of this outer dream world. The suffering we experience is a result of the negative thoughts created through the victim state of our ego. While we strive for comfort, we often become stagnant in our growth and expansion.

But the world is always changing and evolving in perfect harmony, and I have learned that embracing the loving state we are capable of existing in is one of the key elements of life. Despite being the most intellectual species, we also suffer more than any other species. It is up to us to think our way out of our beauty, as the journey isn’t always explained clearly.

My mission is to break free from society’s norms that hold us back from being the beautiful beings we are meant to be. I strive to balance my state of existence by being an example to others. My ultimate goal is to find inner peace and eliminate the feeling of being personally attacked by triggers that offset my emotions. I take responsibility for my actions and view them as lessons.

I aim to think, speak, and act in alignment with my true self. My intuition is finely tuned, and I let my heart lead the way. Life is a beautiful experience, and I will not allow outer dormants to change my inner knowing. I am always learning and growing, fine-tuning this human vessel and empowering others with my growth.

Mindful Monday

UNDERSTANDING yourself is power. LOVING yourself is freedom. FORGIVING yourself is peace. BEING yourself is bliss ……..

Love can be defined in various ways, but at its core, it is a deep and intense feeling of affection, care, and connection towards someone or something. Love involves a range of emotions, including happiness, joy, trust, empathy, compassion, and sometimes, pain and sadness.

As social beings, we are conditioned by our environment, upbringing, culture, and society to adopt certain ways of being that are often based on conditional love. Conditional love means that we are loved and accepted by others only if we meet their expectations, fulfill their needs, or conform to their standards. We learn to seek validation, approval, and recognition from others to feel worthy and lovable, which can lead to a distorted sense of self and disconnection from our authentic selves.

However, true love is unconditional. Unconditional love means that we love and accept ourselves and others for who we are, regardless of our flaws, mistakes, or limitations. Unconditional love is not based on external factors, such as appearance, status, or achievements, but on the intrinsic value and worth of every being. It is a deep and profound recognition of our interconnectedness and shared humanity.

UNDERSTANDING YOURSELF is power because it enables you to cultivate self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-love. As loving beings, it is our duty to serve one another and to be of service to those in need. We never know what others may be going through, so it’s important to take the time to recognize and appreciate them.

Let’s give an extra effort to show kindness and appreciation to all the humans of service to our needs, from the janitor to the educator, from the food service worker to the delivery driver, from the business advisor to the salesman. Let’s extend gratitude to all those who make our lives easier and better in so many ways.

Today, we want to focus on recognition of the beautiful humans we interact with daily or cross paths. Let’s be thoughtful of our brothers and sisters and embrace our gratitude. Our actions are a reflection of how we feel, so let’s use love as our compass today and stay on track.
