How did I lose touch? It was a lack of knowledge and understanding, a reluctance to speak up for myself constructively. Instead, I’d avoid situations or drown my reality in substances and alcohol. Regret and anger became my companions, overshadowing my existence.

But now, I’ve found peace and liberation. Reconnecting with my higher self has made my journey more fluid, though I still have my moments of struggle. Yet, I’ve learned a powerful lesson: while I can’t control the world around me, I have full control over how I respond.

It’s been a journey of trial and error, reliving situations until I chose a path that prioritized my well-being. Without understanding how to balance my emotions, life felt like a never-ending rollercoaster of turmoil.
