Why?

I ask myself what can I do

To serve the humans all around

I am grateful, blessed and true

But searching for a higher sound

I understand their struggles well

For I have walked a similar road

I share my experiences, to tell

That we are not alone in our abode

I am here to help in any way

But truth be told, I don’t have all the answers

For each of us is unique, today

With questions that we must answer

I’ve learned to stop creating answers

And learned from the challenges at hand

It’s the way we categorize them

That creates the difficulty and demand

So let us take the day for what it is

Each moment, each situation we face

Let us not be defined by our circumstances

For they create opportunities in grace

Let us learn from every interaction

Being the lesson on how to respond

Instead of having a compulsive reaction

And heal and grow with a helping hand

Supporting one another in our journey

Separating when we sense stagnation

We deserve a great experience, indeed

So let us work together, with determination.
